We have regular coordination meetings (syncs and refinements) to keep everyone on the same page. In addition, we hold code reviews to look at colleagues’ work and gain further insights. Depending on the situation, we also solve tasks together directly as a team—this not only helps with quality assurance, but also with knowledge sharing.

Technical decisions are discussed together—developers can contribute suggestions, and their perspective is heard and valued. In the end, team and department leads make the decision, but it is based on alignment within the team. We ensure quality through a combination of automated tests and manual checks by our QA team: before new features or optimizations go live, they are meticulously reviewed in advance. Test coverage is continuously growing; the goal is to automate as much as possible in the long term.

Flexibility is especially important to me. Here, I work in a hybrid model—sometimes in the office, sometimes from home—which makes it easy to fit personal appointments around work. For example, I can easily integrate a doctor’s appointment into my workday.

I also really value the collegial atmosphere in the tech team. Communication is open and direct, we know each other well, and we know we can rely on one another. Mistakes are discussed constructively, knowledge is shared, and if someone needs support, help is provided immediately.
